This section of the Bruce is beautiful - like most of it.
I solo hiked 15km on this trail. From point 0.0 on the Caledon map to forks of the credit and coming back, across the train tracks, along a couple side trails which lead back to the Bruce and back to my car.
It was a great hike - a little damp; with many mossy rocks, steep inclines and declines, along the trail.
You definitely want to make sure you have your hiking shoes on for this one!
There was also some stagnant water in a couple spots - which means I was lunch for some mosquitoes, even with 2 douses of bug spray on! But that wasn’t about to stop me….
Despite the war with mosquitoes in some spots; I thoroughly enjoyed this hike.
The different terrains, the quietness, the views - there was a little bit of everything to enjoy. I was out there for the bulk of my day. I left at about 8:45am and returned home around 3:30pm.
Have a wonderful day!
